This class, a continuation of fall beginner session, has  room for 6 additional students, with 6 students now  continuing.  Singles and couples welcome.  Rotation encouraged. Pre-registration required.  Those with some beginner experience, wondering if this class would be  appropriate or useful, feel free to inquire.
Content: Tangonova Level I series covers  a variety of beginner material, with emphasis on becoming comfortable walking in partnership, as lead or  follow, finding supportive posture and using an easy vocabulary that allows  adapting  to the line of dance and the flow of traffic. Traditional tango  patterns are gradually added while encouraging  a mix and match step approach, so the dance remains fresh and musical, and no one gets stuck repeating one sequence ad nauseum.
7:00- 8:30  pm, at  1084 Tower Rd (the Halifax Shambhala Centre)
5 weeks = Series Cost: $75 per person (cash or e-tranfer)
Footwear: Ideally you’ll dance in a comfortable shoe with a dry smooth-sole, that allows pivoting,  rather than gripping the floor.  If you  have  such   shoes,  bring  them with you  to change into before the class.  Otherwise,  don’t worry  –  you  can always  dance in  stocking feet! No need to invest in special footwear for your first class!

Entrance: The  front door  to 1084 Tower Rd will be propped open to allow entry until I start the class. If you arrive  after the door is locked, please ring the bell or knock loudly. The class is in the area directly to the left of the entrance. There is a coat room down the hall on the left.

Parking: street parking on west side of Tower Rd  free after 6 pm.

Health and well-being: Tango is a contact sport! If you have a cold symptoms, whether covid or any contagious flu, best to stay home!  Thank you for your consideration. Generally, students no longer mask at classes, but it remains an option, if you prefer.

It is fun to learn tango with friends. Reach out,  there may still be room for a few more participants!

Should you have any questions, or have a change of plans,  do  get in touch.
