Take a Walk on the Wild Side /LEARN TO TANGO ! with Maestro Margaret Spore
Introductory Series = 6 weeks = $85 per person.
Pre-registration email for phone and e-transfer or cash at class. Payment plans accepted, No CCs.
Register singly or with a partner. Role balance of leads and follows maintained within 1 or 2 .
Footwear: balance and pivoting ar important, so smooth not grippy soles for pivoting, and heels not too high for your balance, ladies!
Stocking feet okay for starters. Dress comfortably for walking and embracing a partner.
Tangonova supports a general neutral environment. The roles of leader and follower are important in the structure of tango, but need not be attached to a specific gender. Over time many tango dancers acquire the skills to both lead and follow, but initially it works best to commit to learning one or the other: lead or follow.
Single registrants, who know which role they plan to start out with, please indicate that when registering. Anyone wanting to try out both roles in a class first before choosing, that’s fine.
