Playful & Perceptive Tango Conversations: Level II Class.
Pre-Requisite suggested – You: about a year into tango / 2-3 previous series and/or workshops/ occasional attendance at social tango events/practicas. AND/OR Contact instructor to confirm readiness.
Class Description: A look at sandwiches, sacadas, empujadas – sounds like a Tango delicatessen! All served up with respect to dance floor ebb and flow.
Learn which tango figures or structures specifically encourage partner interaction on the dance floor It is not all up to the leader to initiate by the way. Followers have an important voice. When engaging one another in close contact, technique is important as well. Finally, rather than simply memorizing and repeating the same step patterns, lets’ practice playing with the concepts embedding in the steps, in order to mix and match the material musically and personally on the tango floor, each in our own unique way.
