The Power of  Spirals (for Followers)
The  joints in our skeletal structure allow us to create energy-packed twists in our torso and elegant spiral shapes  in our limbs, based on good alignment and core strength.  Utilize your spirals  to execute elegant ochos,  influence the timing of the  pivot & and create specific embellishments, while acquiring routines for developing & maintaining your tango tummy!

Class I: The Spiral in the Torso = Step transitions, Body Position & Pivots. Head to toe overview.

Class II: The Spiral in the Torso Encore   Review of previous week, plus hip-based pivots and  their application.

If you are able to attend one or both of the above classes, you will also  love:
Class III: The Spiral in the Leg = Used alone and in combination with the spiral in the torso to create sultry or sassy embellishments!
BY FAR THE MOST REQUESTED STYLE OF LEG WORK IN  MY YEARS OF TEACHING!
(If you are only available for Class III = please contact me! It really helps to understand the torso spiral to achieve success with these embellishments)
Cost:
$15 per class/Students $12
$30 for all 3!

Note: these classes are recommended pre-requisites to followers wanting  to attend any Boleo and Off-axis partner workshops I plan to organize next, provided  I am able to find an assistant teacher!
Follower’s Fancy sessions are open to men and women of the tango who wish to explore  the dance from the follower’s perspective. For cultural and practical reasons best discussed over a glass of wine, leaders receive the lion’s share of attention in traditional tango classes. Followers’ classes are a way to balance out that equation. They are offered in tango communities around the world and have proved popular here in Halifax.
