Because this is a milonga weekend, I won’t be hosting the regular community practica but instead, a special class focusing on followers’ embellishments, shapely boleos & other special moves, with ample time for practicing the class material. and practice featuring the follower.
Sunday, March 5: Follower’s Fancy
Techniques for embellishments & special leg moves.
Combination of Instruction and practice. More of a workshop than a practica.
For Leads and Follows with concentration on follower’s techniques, before moving into lead tips for leaders.
Leaders could come later in the session .Follower’s will need leaders to get the most out of their work.
1-3 pm
DanSpace, 1800 Argyle St, 3rd floor.
All-levels.
Leaders: attend to learn follower role, OR consider attending for the second half to learn how to both support followers’ added adornos, and to lead their special moves.
1-1:45 pm = focus on follower’s technique re embellishments and special moves, like boleos/ganchos etc.
1:45 -2:30 = How leaders can relate to unique aspects of the followers vocabulary, either actively listening for their embellishments.or actively leading special moves.

Followers $18 (or part of pre-paid series)
Leads for practice period only 1:45 – 3 pm = $10 or call me.
