Milonga Del Puerto Saturday Sept 14: Last Songs of Summer!
Earlier start time: 5-7:30 pm (to avoid evening dew fall floor =dampness).

Free Parking- street or Seaport market lots
Bathrooms: new Water Polo restaurant at site, Garrison’s at Seaport, Bicycle Thief at Bishop’s Landing
Dress in layers – usually cooler on the water.
No spike heals without heel guards (DJ may have extra).
We dance on rolled out vinyl – pointed heels may puncture it. Moisture is problematic.
Forecast: Sunny and 22c. Cancellation will be posted on Ects FB page by 5 pm Sept 14.
No indoor Back up location unless advertised.

Waterfront tango dancing is supported by members of our community thru both volunteer set-up/take-down efforts and monetary donations of participants.
Tangonova supplies and maintains the floor, provides music or hires another DJ, and organizes the site-booking, outreach, and publicity.
No formal instruction is provided on the waterfront (unless previously announced). However, it is fine to take someone for a “tango” walk on the floor or the boardwalk, if they express interest, as long as you can do so without interfering or disrupting the dance flow & atmosphere. Tango classes are available with local instructors, including Tangonova.
This will be the final summer 2024 Milonga Del Puerto. Thank you all for your enthusiastic support and volunteer help this season. We danced many a fine evening overlooking the Halifax harbour! Fall indoor Milonga dates are listed on my web site. The first will be Saturday Sept 28 at Fusion.
