The technique for executing a gancho or boleo as a follower is uniquely different than that of the lead. Nothing the lead does can make your boleo or gaucho succeed if you do not have the postural support and leg work already in place. In a regular partner class it is rare that followers receive enough attention to master these moves, so now is your chance!
There is no half-way with these powerful moves! Practice makes perfect.
