Session One: Expansive vs Compact Turns – the follower’s work!

There is often confusion about the correct way to execute the grapevine turn. That’s understandable – turns comes in different sizes and shapes, depending on the embrace. In our community followers are likely to find themselves dancing socially in both close and open embraces, before they know the difference. It’s frustrating to be told your steps are too far away or too close, too big or too small, too much pivot or not enough? What gives? Attend this class and find out.
Emphasis on degrees of pivot, the back-side transition, upper body spiral, momentum and postural support.
A few women who also lead would be useful in this class.
Cost: $15 per class. or $40 for all Three Followers Fancy this Fall.
There will be two addtional Followers Fancy Classes in November.
